Description
Rendezvous Mtn, rising 2500 feet in elevation, near the base of the Blue Ridge escarpment, providing beautiful views and excellent hiking through the heart of the park.
Geography:
Located in the northern foothills of the Apalachian Mtns, Rendezvous Mtn rises sharply in north western Wilkes County, with several other moutain tops that extend towards the Blue Ridge escarpment. Both steep ravines and gentle valleys exist in the park boundarys, along with a cascading waterfall and several small streams.
