Alcoholic beverages and fireworks are prohibited. Firearms are prohibited except for with the proper license.
Check in 8:30 a.m. Checkout 30 minutes before park closes.
There is no electricity at any of the shelters.
Pets are allowed except in park buildings but they must be on a leash no longer than six feet and cannot be left unattended.
Special Activity permit shall be required for special events like weddings, bike events, festivals, etc. Please contact park office.
Unlicensed vehicles, motorcycles, golf carts, ATV's and mini-bikes are prohibited with the exception of mobility-aid devices used by a mobility-impaired person. All vehicles are prohibited from walkways, trails and other areas not designated for such purposes.
No generators, no amplified music allowed.
Must provide your own firewood.

Site

NC resident or non-resident fishing license required where fishing is available. Gates lock at specific hours posted upon entering the park throughout the year.
North Carolina state park rules and regulations are posted in each park and enforced by rangers. Violating these rules and regulations is a misdemeanor and may result in a fine and revocation of permit.
State vehicle and traffic laws are enforced, and the speed limit is 25 mph unless otherwise posted.
North Carolina state parks are wildlife sanctuaries; no hunting is allowed and collecting plants, minerals and artifacts is prohibited. State fishing regulations are enforced.
At least one adult 18 or older, must accompany each camper/group.
